How difficult is installation?
Installation is straightforward and does not require modifying the A/C unit internally: the thermostat operates by infrared.
Does EcoHost need an internet connection?
Yes. EcoHost needs stable Wi-Fi for sensors, automations, monitoring and remote configuration. If the internet connection is interrupted, the thermostat continues to allow basic A/C control; occupancy- and opening-based automations and remote functions may be temporarily unavailable. Connected functions resume when connectivity returns.

Does the technology interrupt the guest?
No. The system works discreetly to maintain comfort without requiring additional action from the guest.
